Locus of Center of Segment of Tangent cut off by Two Fixed Tangents

For a given ellipse, we take the tangents through a fixed point. We take the midpoint of the segment of a general tangent cut off by these tangents, and observe that the result is a hyperbola, whose axis passes through the center of the ellipse.
